As you put the chaos of the holidays behind you and enter a new year, it is only natural to look back and see how far you have come. The ladies at this Albany marketing firm are no exception! 2011 was a great year for us and we have a few milestones we’d like to highlight for all of our loyal followers!
•   The launch of Orchard Tavern website  in June was the first site completed with our new amazing developer Dane Morgan. Since Dane has joined our team, he has brought new ideas and creativity to web development that has forever changed how we do web design at Rebel!
•  The launch of over 17 new client websites!
• A huge success for us this year was Otto Cadillac’s social media campaign that donated a car to Joyce Nichols and her twins Brandon and Krista around Christmas. Throughout the month of November and beginning of December, fans of the Otto Cadillac Facebook page nominated deserving individuals and families to win the car. Once the family had been chosen, they would receive their car when Otto Cadillac received the 2,000th “Like” on their Facebook page. The car was chosen: a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS 4WD that recently passed a full, Otto Cadillac inspection. In addition, Otto had graciously offered to pay the 8% sales tax that would normally be covered by the family.
In less than 48 hours, the Nichols family was given the keys to their car. It was really thrilling to be a part of something so special during the holiday season. Read our blog post about the Otto Cadillac social media campaign by going here.
•   The Century House’s Enjoy One, Share One Campaign was honored at the 2011 Mark of Excellence Awards from the American Marketing Association.
For those not familiar with the Enjoy One, Share One Campaign, the Century House teamed up with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to help end hunger in the Capital Region. Â For every meal that is enjoyed at the Century House, the Century House donates a meal to the food bank! Â To date, they have shared over 242,000 meals through the Enjoy One Share One program.
• The Co-Owners of Rebel CMC, Brianne Baggetta Noonan and Amanda Dolan, were asked to present at the State University of New York Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD) annual conference about the advancements of direct mail marketing and how to properly utilize variable print in institutional campaigns. Their round table presentation focused on the advancements of direct mail marketing and how to properly utilize variable print in institutional campaigns. Rebel’s strategic partnership with The Mailworks, an Albany print and mail facility, makes this all possible.
• In December 2011, Rebel began expanding into the loft space at their current residence at 45 Prospect Ave in Albany. The new offices will be completed in January 2012. The renovated space will include a great conference space to provide the perfect setting for client meetings.
